Problems and Challenges:


Availability of manpower in the district office and upazilas within the district as per the organizational structure of the department within the financial year 2016-17. Purchase/procurement of all vehicles, goods and office equipment included in the TOE. Organizing training on ICT/e-services for officers/employees at the district level and obtaining the necessary budget for organizing the training.


Future Plans:


Implementation of e-governance by ensuring and coordinating the use and application of ICT in all government offices/institutions at the upazila level. Raising awareness on ICT and providing necessary consultancy services to the members of the ICT club formed around the Sheikh Russell Digital Lab established in educational institutions and motivating the club members to do freelancing by organizing training on ICT.


Possible major achievements for the financial year 2016-17:


Providing training on ICT/e-services to officers/employees at the upazila level.


Completing the purchase of all office equipment and machinery as per the TOE.

Inspection of all labs with the aim of increasing the use of computer labs established in the upazila.

Providing necessary support and bringing positive impact to increase the use of multimedia classrooms in teaching in educational institutions.
